Uplifting Innovations in Long-Acting Medications 2023

A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR PLANNING & SPONSORING THIS FORUM:

Rimal B. Bera, MD

Clinical Professor of Psychiatry

UC Irvine School of Medicine

For more than two decades, the CAC has provided a forum for advocacy and discussion among leading behavioral health care organizations. The membership consists of non-profit and for-profit behavioral health organizations, patient advocacy groups, state agency/department representatives, and pharmaceutical industry representatives. The CAC educates policymakers and stakeholders about the importance of patient access to medication and behavioral health services.

The Forum was designed to serve as a venue to highlight novel Long-Acting Medications (LAM) interventions around the world. Invitees range from community leaders and organizations, advocacy organizations, government partners, medical professionals, and researchers. A highlight of the Forums has been the focus on interventions that can be replicated and scaled to help encourage the use of LAMs for all patient populations.

Below are this past year's guest speakers for our 2023 UILM meetings.
